STOP THE IDIOT CYCLE!
LEVEL THREE - "I WANT TO DO EVEN MORE!"
#1 - WHERE'S YOUR MONEY.
Most people invest their money.
Some investors want big returns on their investments.
Big investments mean big real estate projects, urban sprawl developments, etc. (hopefully in someone else's community where you can't see it). That money needs to be invested somewhere. It could be invested with a chemical company.
Would you prefer to know exactly where your money is being invested and who it's helping?
Here's a new concept: Slow Money.
If you want to invest your money with farmers or people who want to help their communities there are hundreds of ways. Here are just a few (from Slow Money):
** Slow Money Seed Fund—Seed capital provided by Slow Money for the creation of local investment funds in various regions.
** Slow Money Co-Investment Fund—A national fund dedicated to co- investing with local Slow Money investment chapters, clubs or funds.
** Slow Munis—tax exempt municipal bonds dedicated to developing local food system incubators and public markets;
** I.Fund—a private foundation that is organized as an investment entity, rather than a grant-making entity, with its assets dedicated to investing in local food
systems;
** CSA.USA—a fund dedicated to supporting the expansion of the CSA industry;
** Sustainable Farmland Trust—a fund dedicated to purchasing small and mid-size farms, transitioning them to organic, and leasing them to new farmers.

#2 - DON'T NEED BILLIONAIRES TO SOLVE PROBLEMS.
How did those billionaires get rich in the first place? Monopolizing markets? Monopolizing natural resources?
You have the greatest resource around you - your community. Check out the Investors' Circle.
You'll know where your money is invested so you can avoid investing in cancer-causing industries.

#3
- EMAIL FRIENDS AND FAMILY.
Email your friends and family the 'be heard' petition link.
#4 - TAXPAYERS ARE PAYING FOR CANCER.
The "true" price of cheap products are not cheap. If we were to calculate the environmental and health damage into their fabrication, those products would be very expensive.
Who's paying for that environmental and health damage?
You are.
Federal Superfund sites are mostly paid for by taxpayers. Health care that covers expensive cancer treatments. That's you.
We all lose. We all pay the price.
If you donate to cancer research, think about donating to organizations that "prevent cancer".
Prevention means stopping the problem at its source - to stop cancer-causing compounds from being licensed.
Many universities, researchers and organizations are funding studies on the causes of cancer and on lobbying the government to reduce cancer-causing pollution into our bodies.
Just search "prevent cancer."
